City role: significant
 Percent of citizen survey participants rating City services as excellent or good.

The City of Redmond conducts a citizen survey every two years.  One question asks participants to rate the City's job in delivering services. The exact language in the question has changed over time, so direct comparisons are not possible. In general, however, the level of satisfaction appears to be decreasing, from 82 percent in 2009 to 70 percent in 2015. The survey question covers all city services broadly, ranging from public safety to utilities, parks and recreation, planning, and others.
