When will the City resume late fees, interest, and shut-offs?

In accordance with the final extension of Proclamation 20-23, pertaining to Utility Ratepayer Assistance and Preservation of Essential Services, the Governor’s moratorium on late fees, interest, and shut-offs expired September 30, 2021.  Effective January 1, 2022, the City returned to its original past-due and disconnection policy for any unpaid delinquent accounts without a payment plan.  Should your service be disconnected, payment of all past-due charges and fees will be required to re-establish service.  To avoid collection activity and ensure continued service, we urge you to pay your past-due balance now. If you are unable to pay your past-due balance, please contact our office to arrange a flexible payment plan.
