Current Cancellations

To slow the spread of and reduce the number of individuals infected with COVID-19 the City of Redmond is acting on King County Public Health’s latest recommendations to cancel or postpone events and meetings where we expect large groups of people. We will also post facility closures here.  

  • City Hall will be closed through Thursday, April 30 - The Emergency Operations Center will continue to monitor and work closely with the King County Emergency Operations Center. 
  • The remainder of City facilities including the Public Safety Building, Maintenance and Operations Center, Fire Stations, the Redmond Community Center at Marymoor Village, the Old Firehouse Teen Center, and the Farrel-McWhirter Barnyard will be closed to the public until further notice. . 
  • Parks and trail systems remain open, but all sports fields, playgrounds, sports courts, picnic shelters, and Edge Skate Park are closed
  • All public restrooms at Redmond Parks (except Downtown Park and Watershed Park) are closed

Redmond Police, Fire and other critical City services are fully operational at this time

The courthouse has closed until March 27th but for civil orders of protection hearings and in custody criminal matters via video. The prosecutors office will be sending recommendations on those matters electronically and obtained approval from the sitting Judge. Protocols have been established with RPD and records on how our office will review/ file new in-custody bookings remotely.
