A prowler smashed a parked car window and stole a laptop, phones and other items that were left inside. There was no suspect information available.

Officers responded to a burglary after a woman heard noises outside her home and then saw two males running away from her property. Police found the suspects had forced open a garage door and attempted to break into the main house. With assistance from Bellevue Police K-9 team, police searched the surrounding area but did not immediately locate the burglars. This investigation is ongoing

A 37-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of theft after she walked out of a grocery store with a cart full of items that she had not purchased.

A vehicle owner noticed both of his license plates were swapped out with plates not registered to his car. Upon reporting, police discovered the plates were stolen out of Renton. Both plates were sent for fingerprint processing.
March 25, 2020

Officers responded to a complaint from an apartment complex that three young males were hanging out the pool area despite the facility being closed due to COVID-19. While police explained the current Governor's order to "Stay Home, Stay Healthy," one of the males became aggressive and charged one of the officers. After a brief scuffle, the suspect was detained and arrested for obstructing, trespassing and for having an active warrant. The other two males were trespassed from the area.

A burglar smashed a veterinary office window, entered the building, and stole numerous kinds of medication. Evidence was collected and the investigation is ongoing.
March 27, 2020

A local store was broken into overnight, and the thief stole cigarettes, alcohol and other items. There was no surveillance video available, but other evidence was gathered and sent for processing.
March 28, 2020

Charges are pending on a suspected car prowler, after police processed and reviewed evidence collected from a January break-in. The thief smashed a car window on January 9, stole a purse and wallet, and proceeded to use the stolen credit cards at various local businesses. Police tracked down the identity of the thief, who has a lengthy criminal history.
