An unidentified thief fraudulently charged thousands of dollars to a local company's credit card.
January 14, 2020

A 43-year-old female is facing charges after she lost control of her vehicle, ended up in a resident's driveway, and then wandered away from the scene. A witness told police she appeared intoxicated and refused to wait for the police. The suspect, who was wearing pajamas, then walked off through the snow. Police contacted her soon after the incident and had her vehicle towed from the driveway where she had abandoned it.
January 15, 2020

Several vehicles in the same neighborhood were broken into by an unidentified prowler. Backpacks, wallets, laptops and other valuables that had been left inside were stolen.

A man reported that someone cashed two of his checks without his permission or knowledge. The victim believed his checks had been taken from his residence sometime recently. The victim's wife also recently discovered some of her jewelry was missing. An investigation into who is responsible is ongoing.

An unknown thief broke into several apartment mailboxes and stole checks and other items.
January 16, 2020

A helpful witness alerted police to suspicious activity which led to officers arresting a male who broke into a closed business. The witness heard a security alarm, spotted a man inside and later helped identify the suspect. Charges are pending.
January 17, 2020

A 36-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of DUI after he was involved in a three-car collision. Responding officers, one of whom had arrested the suspect before for DUI, observed he appeared quite intoxicated. After failing several sobriety tests, he was booked into jail.

A car owner found his vehicle had been stolen from his apartment parking lot. The victim told police he might have accidentally left his keys in his door lock and the thief may have used them to take his car. No suspect information was available.
