December 2, 2019

A helpful resident called police after spotting a thief swipe a bike from his apartment parking garage. The witness told police he saw the suspect cut the lock, remove the bike from the wall and leave the garage. Because of the witness' quick action and good description of the suspect, officers were able to quickly locate the thief and take him into custody. The 47-year-old male is facing multiple charges from this incident and other criminal activity.

A woman reported that her driver's license had fraudulently been used to rent an apartment in California. The suspect's identity is not known.

A U-Haul truck stolen from a Redmond storage company was found unoccupied in Kirkland a few hours later. No arrests have been made.

A 22-year-old female is facing assault charges after she pulled a male out of his seat at a coffee shop, poured coffee on his jacket, and then spit on him.
December 6, 2019

A 28-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of DUI after he was pulled over for driving 15 mph under the speed limit with expired tabs. The suspect appeared intoxicated and was legally required have an ignition interlock device on his vehicle from previous DUI arrests. He was booked into jail.

A traffic officer pulled over a woman after he witnessed her speeding and driving erratically through traffic-congested streets. Upon contact, the suspect told the officer she was driving that way because her son was in the hospital. Further investigation revealed that story was an untruth. The 21-year-old is facing multiple charges including negligent driving, driving with a suspended license, and making false statements to an officer.

An unidentified thief smashed a car window and stole a laptop and a gym bag.

A man arrived home to find his front door had been pried open and someone had painted graffiti on his furniture. Nothing else was disturbed and no valuables were stolen. There is a strong likelihood that the suspect is an acquaintance of the victim but no charges have been filed yet.

A prowler stole cash and an ID badge out of an unlocked car. The thief's identity is not known.

Two people reported that packages had been stolen off their front porch. The thief has not been identified.
