November 18, 2019

Police arrested a 47-year-old male who was caught attempting to steal a bicycle from a local apartment complex. An employee called police after seeing the suspect acting suspiciously in the bike storage room. Burglary and drug charges are pending.

An extremely drunk male was arrested on suspicion of DUI after crashing his Buick into the side of a 7-11. The 68-year-old suspect was uncooperative with responding officers while they took him into custody and booked him. Due to his extreme level of intoxication, the suspect was taken to the hospital for care.

A thief cut through a company's chain link fence and stole a 300 pound welding machine from the tool yard. No arrests have been made.
November 19, 2019

A vehicle owner reported his truck had been broken into overnight and the stereo had been stolen. The unidentified thief left behind some tools and what appeared to be a large amount of white dog fur in the victim's vehicle.
November 20, 2019

Police investigated several car prowls that occurred in the same neighborhood. The unknown thief made off with laptops, wallets and other valuables that had been left in the vehicles.
November 21, 2019

Police arrested a 29-year-old male after he was seen shoplifting tools from a local home improvement store. Turned out the suspect had a warrant for another shoplifting incident in Redmond earlier this year. He was booked into jail and is facing theft charges.
November 22, 2019

A car prowler stole a wallet, clothing and $500 in cash out of an unlocked vehicle. Police gathered evidence and sent it for processing.

A fraudster scammed a couple thousand dollars out of a woman by pretending to be a representative from the Social Security Administration. The caller told the victim that her information had been used to open dozens of bank accounts in Texas. The victim was also told a car in her name and full of drugs and guns had been found on the U.S./Mexico border. The crook coerced the victim into buying gift cards and providing the card numbers over the phone to the suspect. Please keep in mind that official agencies will never request payment in gift cards over the phone.

An unidentified thief stole mail from dozens of mailboxes. A resident called police after seeing all the open mailboxes in his neighborhood and mail scattered in the street. Police collected evidence and contacted mailbox owners to inform them of the theft and damage. No arrest has been made.
November 23, 2019

Two cars were broken into by an unidentified prowler sometime overnight. Backpacks, electronics, tools and other items were stolen.
November 24, 2019

A 65-year-old male was arrested after he was found hanging out in a thrift store after they had closed for the night. The man had apparently hidden from view in a clothing rack as employees closed up the store. Once the coast was clear, he then helped himself to some snacks and a snooze on one of the couches. The store alarms were tripped as the suspect roamed around the building in the wee hours of the morning. He was booked and is facing burglary and possession charges.
