October 28, 2019

A man reported that a woman he met at a casino entered his home while he was at work and stole cash, electronics and a vintage designer chair. The victim believed the alleged suspect took his spare key while she was in his home a couple weeks ago. The victim told police he only had a few details about the woman's identity and she has not been located.

A burglar stole cash and an iPad from a local restaurant. The thief apparently entered the closed business through an unsecured rear door, took the money, and left without damaging any property. The suspect has not been identified.
October 29, 2019

A number of vehicle owners reported having their license plates removed and switched with other plates. The suspect is not known.

Officers arrested two car prowl suspects after they were spotted in a vehicle that matched a witness description of the thieves' get-a-way car. Police tailed the duo as they drove aimlessly through a parking garage and then parked, peered through unoccupied parked cars' windows and generally behaved in a squirrelly manner. After securing a search warrant for the vehicle, officers found evidence linking the two to multiple car prowls.

A man found his vehicle had been stolen from his apartment's parking lot after someone borrowed it and left it unlocked with a key inside. The car was located in Bothell a few days later but no arrests have been made.

A burglar broke into an apartment and stole electronics and a bag of Oreo's brand cereal. The victim told police he was in the process of moving to a new apartment so most of his belongings had already been removed. Evidence gathered at the scene is being processed.
October 30, 2019

Several people reported that their bikes had been swiped from their apartment's patios and public bike rack. The unidentified thief managed to cut through the bike lock chains and make off with the stolen property.

A selfish, sweets-swiping scalawag snagged someone's bowl of Halloween candy off their front porch. The scoundrel was caught on the homeowner's security camera but has not yet been brought to justice.

Police investigated a car prowl after the victim returned to his vehicle and found a thief had broken a window and stolen his chef's knife bag that had been left inside. The suspect's identity is not known.

A woman was duped out of $6000 by someone posing as one of her friends on Facebook. The suspect sent the victim messages telling her she could win $100,000 if she bought eBay gift cards and sent the card numbers through Facebook messenger. The victim did so and then called her friend who reported she had not been messaging her. The suspect's identity is not known.
November 2, 2019

A car stolen from a Redmond apartment complex was located a few hours later in Tukwila. All the tires had been removed, side panels had been taken off and the speakers had been stolen. Police collected evidence from the car and sent it for processing.

A woman attempted to pass a counterfeit $50 bill off at a local drug store but the employee spotted it and refused. The suspect attempted to retrieve it but the conscientious employee declined and turned it over to police.
