Officers investigated after someone entered an unlocked car and stole electronics and car keys to another vehicle. The victim reported his car parked at his residence in Seattle had been missing and Seattle PD is investigating the stolen vehicle.

October 8, 2019

A 28-year-old male was arrested after a store employee confronted him for shoplifting and the suspect pushed the employee while trying to flee. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of assault and theft.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested after a vehicle collision where she hit three other cars and then fled the area on foot. Officers located the suspect in a near-by residence and took her into custody. The suspect is facing charges for hit and run and driving with a suspended license.

A man reported his vehicle stolen after his adult daughter took off with it without his knowledge or permission. The suspect returned the vehicle the following day and her father declined to press charges.

A man called police after finding his car had been stolen from his parking spot sometime during the night. Vigilant officers spotted the stolen vehicle as it was speeding down a Redmond street. Upon catching up to the car, officers found it to be unoccupied and searched the area for the driver. With the assistance of witnesses pointing out where the suspect had ran, police quickly located him and took him into custody. A King County Sheriff's Office K-9 unit then arrived and tracked from the stolen vehicle to where RPD had detained the suspect confirming he had fled from the car. Multiple charges are pending.

Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle after the owner found her car missing from where she had parked it the night before. An officer found the car in a different spot in the same parking lot and the only thing missing from it was a personal check. No suspect information was immediately available.

An unidentified car thief stole a vehicle from an apartment parking spot and then left it nearby in another part of the lot. Evidence collected from the vehicle was sent for processing.
October 12, 2019

Two people reported that their car windows had been smashed and property had been stolen sometime overnight. The suspect is not currently known.

A witness called police after seeing a male breaking into a bank of mailboxes. Officers searched the area but did not locate the subject described by the witness. No further suspect information was available.

Officers were called to investigate a burglary after the homeowner found that four large plastic pumpkin decorations had been stolen from his garage. How the unknown suspect entered the garage is not known.
