A thief broke into a secured locker at an apartment complex and stole a bicycle. The victim told police this is the third bike he's had stolen from the bike locker.

A 22-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of theft after being caught shoplifting shoes from a department store. The suspect then told police he had swallowed heroin to avoid being booked into jail but soon admitted that was not true. He is facing theft and obstructing charges.

Police investigated a report of a stolen vehicle after the victim found his car missing from its regular parking spot. No suspect information is known.

An unknown prowler smashed a car window and stole a laptop that had been left inside.

A man reported his car had been stolen from its parking spot sometime during the night. Auburn police found the car unoccupied in their city, processed it for evidence, and returned it to the rightful owner. No arrests have been made.

An unidentified thief crashed his vehicle through a business' gate, entered the lot and stole several aluminum rims. Investigation is ongoing.

A man reported he had been the victim of a "phishing" scam after a fraudster posing as one of his regular suppliers intercepted a payment. The victim believed he had sent more than $35,000 to a regular client but found the money had been instead directed to an unknown account. The victim's financial institutions are investigating the incident.

A 32-year-old male is facing felony charges after police connected him with a recent burglary of a Redmond home. The victim notified police of the burglary-in-progress after his security system pinged his phone with an alert. Officers searched the area with the assistance of a Renton K-9 team and tracked the suspect to a nearby residence. Further investigation led police to identify the suspect and recover property that had been stolen from the victim's home.

A passer-by found a pile of stolen mail and packages in some underbrush and reported their finding to police. Officers tracked down the victims and returned the mail. The thief has not been identified.
