A burglar broke into a construction office sometime over the weekend and stole tools, keys and a microwave. Evidence gathered at the scene is being processed.

Two shoplifters struggled with a store loss prevention employee before taking off with a cart full of stolen tools. The employee recognized the thieves from previous shoplifting incidents at the store and the investigation is ongoing.

A thief smashed a car window and stole a purse while the owner was nearby watching a soccer game. There was no suspect information available.

An unknown burglar removed the hinges to an apartment storage unit and made off with a bike and a computer monitor. No arrests have been made.

Police arrested a 47-year-old male after a witness saw him expose himself along the Slough Trail. The suspect is facing multiple charges, including indecent exposure, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction.

Police took a report of a car prowl after the owner found his gym bag and other items had been stolen sometime overnight.

A vehicle owner called police after finding his car missing from where he had parked it the night before. The victim reported he may had left a spare key inside and the door unlocked. The thief has not been identified.

A fraudster conned $1000 out of a woman by posing as an immigration official on the phone and threatening her with arrest. The thief coerced the victim into purchasing gift cards and giving the card numbers over the phone. Please remember that government officials will never call and demand money or gift cards.

An unknown suspect pried open a locked mailbox but did not manage to steal any mail.

A woman reported her purse had been stolen out of the open rear door of her vehicle while she and her husband were washing the car at a self serve car wash. Officers searched the area for the thief but were unable to locate the subject.

Officers were called to a hair salon after two belligerent customers threw a fit and refused to pay for services rendered. The manager told police the two women yelled obscenities, threw business cards at employees and caused quite a scene. The women face theft charges if they refuse to settle their bill with the salon.

Police investigated a report of a car theft after the victim discovered his Honda Civic had been stolen from his apartment parking lot. No information on the suspect's identity was immediately available.
