A car owner called police after discovering his Honda Civic had been stolen sometime overnight. The unoccupied car was found in Bellevue the following day.

A 19-year-old male is facing shoplifting charges after being seen stealing power tools from a hardware store. Evidence suggests the subject is responsible for several other similar thefts at home improvement stores around the area. The investigation is ongoing.

A security guard called police after finding a City of Redmond park shed had been broken into. It was not immediately clear what, if anything, had been stolen.

Police arrested a 23-year-old male after a witness saw him steal two BB guns from a sporting goods store. Officers contacted the suspect nearby in a local park where he was found in possession of the stolen items and is now facing theft charges.

Police investigated the theft of a Honda Civic from the transit center sometime while the owner was at a baseball game. The car was found the following day in Marysville and returned to the rightful owner. No suspects have been arrested.
July 4, 2019

- Type: Vehicle Prowls
Police received two reports of car prowls that occurred in the same neighborhood sometime overnight. The prowler made off with credit cards, cash and other items that had been left inside. The thief's identity is not currently known.

A mother reported that her teenage son had been duped into sending $150 in gift card numbers over an app on his phone. The teen reported he didn't know the the suspect IRL and there was no further identifying information.
July 5, 2019

A 25-year-old male attempted to flee from officers after he ran from a store with stolen merchandise. The suspect jumped into the passenger's seat of a Fiat driven by a female and officers pulled the car over minutes later. Upon contact, the suspect became combative with officers but was detained after a brief scuffle. Both the officer and the suspect were treated at the scene for injuries sustained. The suspect's accomplice chose not to stick around and sped away from the area while her pal was being arrested. The suspect is facing theft, assault and obstructing charges.
July 6, 2019

Redmond police arrested three males suspected of numerous locker thefts at a local gym. The three thieves were seen fleeing from the gym after breaking into about two dozen lockers and taking gym members' valuables. Two of them jumped in a car and left the third behind to try and catch up on foot. The ditched subject attempted to escape through Redmond Town Center but was quickly detained by officers without incident. The other two in the car were also not so good at evading and were taken into custody. The three are suspected of taking people's phones, cash and wallets and using stolen credit cards around the area soon after absconding with the stolen property. The investigation into the extent of crimes attributed to these three is ongoing and charges are pending.

Two people reported that their vehicles had been broken into sometime during the evening. Various electronics and cash were stolen by the unknown thief.
