June 3, 2019

Police arrested a 45-year-old male on suspicion of DUI. An officer spotted the driver was not wearing a seat belt, pulled him over and noticed the man exhibiting numerous signs of intoxication. The driver was booked into jail on multiple suspected criminal traffic charges.

Officers investigated a fender-bender and found one of the drivers to be showing signs of impairment. Several DUI tests confirmed the officer's suspicions and the suspect was booked into jail.
June 4, 2019

A driver called police after a traffic collision where the other driver refused to provide his information and walked away from the scene. The victim told officers the other driver told her he didn't have insurance and not to call police before he wandered away into a near-by store. Officers soon located the suspect, who appeared to be lethargic and disoriented. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of hit and run, DUI and possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.

An unknown thief smashed a window and stole a wallet out of a parked car. The victim reported that someone attempted to use her stolen credit cards shortly after her vehicle was prowled.

Two people reported having their cars broken into sometime overnight while parked in their apartment lot. The unknown prowler stole backpacks and other items.

A woman reported that while at a party an acquaintance asked for her car keys to check something inside her vehicle and then took off with the car. The victim told police she felt pressure to hand over her keys and the suspect has refused to return her car despite repeated requests to do so.

A store employee called police after noticing six $20 bills a customer had given him appeared to be counterfeit. The investigation is ongoing.

A car prowler smashed a parked car's window and stole make-up and clothing out of the vehicle. There was no suspect information available.
June 7, 2019

A theft victim reported that an unknown subject had used their stolen credit cards at multiple locations in Redmond and around the state. The thief's identity is not known.

A 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of auto theft after he stole his mother's car. The victim told police the teen did not have a driver's license and took her car without her permission. The victim asked to press charges, the teen was arrested and then released into his mother's custody.

A woman was scammed out of $2700 by a caller claiming to be from the Department of Homeland Security. The fraudster told the victim that she was being charged with multiple crimes and that she needed to purchase gift cards and give the caller the numbers. The identity of the thief is not known.

Several cars parked at Redmond Town Center were prowled and various electronics, purses and other items were stolen. The suspect has not been identified.

Police investigated a theft after a man reported his credit cards had been stolen from his gym locker and several thousand dollars had been spent on them soon after. Investigation is ongoing.
