A 32-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting and harassment after he stole $3330 worth of supplements from a grocery store and then threatened to spray an employee with mace. The employee was uninjured during the incident.

A car prowler broke into two vehicles parked at a local park. A witness saw a male taking items out of one of the cars and then drive off in a gold Nissan Altima. Evidence gathered at the scene is being processed but the suspect has not yet been identified.

With the help of a witness who reported an erratic driver, police arrested a 47-year-old female suspected of DUI with two children in her vehicle. An officer witnessed the driver swerve all over the road and then activated his lights in attempt to pull her over. The driver finally stopped seven blocks later and continued to exhibit signs of intoxication. The suspect was arrested, her car was towed and the children were picked up by another parent.

A 20-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting after a store employee saw her walk out of the store with shoes she hadn't paid for. Arresting officers also found her to be in possession of methamphetamine and illegal drug paraphernalia.

Officers responded to a burglary after the resident arrived home to find his back door open and several electronics missing. The unidentified burglar apparently entered the home through a kitchen window that had been left open while the owner was away at work. Evidence collected is being processed.
June 27, 2019

A couple called police after a driver rear-ended them, refused to give her insurance information and then wandered away from her vehicle into a grocery store to use the bathroom. Arriving officers located the 30-year-old driver, who was unsteady on her feet, smelled like liquor and appeared extremely intoxicated. While being taken into custody, the suspect hurled colorful expletives at officers and was generally obstinate and uncooperative. The suspect is facing DUI, hit and run and obstructing charges.

A burglar entered an open garage, rummaged through the vehicle parked inside, and then stole a gas can, a hatchet and a drill. The thief's identity is not known.
June 28, 2019

A car parked at a local park overnight was broken into by an unknown prowler. The thief made off with $700 in cash and a wallet. The stolen credit cards were used shortly after the theft at a grocery store.

Police investigated an attempted car theft after the owner found someone had tried to punch out the ignition and then left the drill they used behind. Evidence collected has been sent for processing.

Police were called after a construction worker found his truck had been stolen while he was working nearby. No suspect information was immediately available.
June 29, 2019

Police investigated a fraud after a man provided personal information over the phone to a caller pretending to be from the victim's credit union. The thief claimed that there had been suspicious banking activity on the victim's account, asked him to verify some information, and then was able to transfer money to another account through the app, Zelle. The suspect's identity is not known.
