June 17, 2019

Thieves broke into a local craft store and stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of beads, pens, bandannas and other items. Evidence collected at the scene is being processed. A few hours earlier there was also a break in at a vitamin store a few doors away. The suspects attempted to open the safe but were unsuccessful and left without taking any property. Investigation is ongoing but no arrests have been made.

A 29-year-old was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting after a store employee saw him exit the property with merchandise that did not belong to him.

A thief stole a Honda Civic parked at a Redmond apartment complex. The car was found unoccupied in Bellevue a few hours after it was reported stolen. The suspect has not been identified.
June 19, 2019

A 33-year-old male was suspected of DUI after he drove into another vehicle and behaved erratically after the collision. Charges are pending until blood draw results come back.
June 20, 2019

An unknown car prowler let themselves into three unlocked cars and stole vehicle registrations and other personal items.

A woman called police after her Honda Civic was stolen from the parking lot while she was working. No suspect information was immediately available.
June 21, 2019

A 39-year-old female is facing theft charges after a thrift store employee saw her take shoes without paying for them. A tussle involving the suspect, the loss prevention employee and the suspect's three-legged dog ensued in front of the store but no one was seriously injured. The suspect was released on scene and trespassed from the store.

A thief smashed a car window and made off with two wallets that had been left inside. The prowler has not been identified.

Police investigated a report of a stolen vehicle after the owner found his Honda CRV missing from where he had last seen it. No suspect information was immediately available.
June 22, 2019

Police investigated a theft after a car prowler broke into a vehicle and stole a purse that had been left inside. The suspect used the stolen credit cards immediately after. Investigation is ongoing.
June 23, 2019

A couple saw a prowler rummaging through their car and then jump into a black vehicle and flee the area. The victim followed the suspect's car but soon lost sight of them. Police gathered evidence from the victim's car and sent it for processing.

Police investigated half a dozen vehicle prowls in the same neighborhood that all occurred sometime overnight. The unidentified thief stole electronics, documents, cash and other items. The suspect also used a garage door opener found in one of the cars to enter a garage and steal sporting equipment and other property.

A thief stole several credit cards out of gym lockers and then used them to make purchases at stores around Redmond. The investigation is ongoing.
