April 22, 2019

Two people reported their cars had been broken into sometime over the weekend. There was no sign of forced entry on either vehicle and the suspect is not known.

Officers responded to a report of a stolen motorcycle after the owner was ripped off while attempting to sell the bike online. The victim arranged to meet the "buyer" in a restaurant parking lot to make the sale and the suspect hopped on the bike and took off with it. The investigation is ongoing.
April 23, 2019

Police contacted a 32-year-old male after he was seen illegally using his cell phone while driving. The visibly nervous driver refused to provide any license or registration upon request and gave officers a false name. He also had an active warrant, was driving on a suspended license, was supposed to be driving with an Ignition Interlock device and was in possession of illegal drugs. Multiple charges are pending.

Police investigated a car prowl after receiving a report that a thief had stolen electronics and a backpack out of an unlocked minivan while the owner was shopping. The suspect has not been identified.

A fraudster conned almost $3000 out of a college student through an online apartment rental scam. The victim believed she was wiring money to rent an apartment in Washington D.C., but soon found out she had been duped. The suspect has not been identified.
April 24, 2019

Officers investigated three car prowl reports from people all parked at Redmond High School for a baseball game. Jewelry, electronics, a wallet and other items were stolen. The unknown suspect used stolen credit cards shortly after the theft.
April 25, 2019

A 51-year-old male was arrested after an officer witnessed him urinating in front of a group of adults and children at a local skate park. The male appeared extremely intoxicated and was combative with officers. He was detained and taken to the hospital for care. Police cited the suspect for indecent exposure, obstruction and resisting arrest.

Two cars parked at an apartment complex were broken into overnight by an unknown prowler. Backpacks and other property were stolen.

A male posing to be from the Social Security Department attempted to coerce personal information out of a victim over the phone. The victim reported the male caller threatened her with legal action if she didn't comply. Government agencies will never request payments or threaten arrest over the phone.

Police arrested a 33-year-old male on suspicion of shoplifting liquor from a local grocery store.
April 27, 2019

A 39-year-old male with a lengthy history of unsavory conduct was arrested after exposing himself in front of a crowded bar. Staff called police after the suspect sneaked into the bar and had to be physically removed. The suspect already had an active trespass letter prohibiting him from entering the establishment. After being 86ed, the male walked across the street and pulled his pants down. He was booked into jail and several charges are pending.
April 28, 2019

An unidentified male grabbed numerous lottery scratch tickets from behind a convenience store counter and then fled on foot. Police set up a perimeter and were assisted by King County Sheriff's K-9, but the suspect was not located. The store employee was not threatened or injured during the incident.
