April 1, 2019

  • Location: 166th Ave NE and NE 80th St.
  • Type: Arrest
  • Case Number: 19-001793

A 24-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of throwing rocks at multiple cars as they drove past. Two drivers called 911 reporting their vehicles had been damaged and provided descriptions of the suspect. Arriving officers found the subject still throwing rocks when they arrived. The suspect also had an active warrant and was booked into jail.

Officers investigated a burglary and car prowl that was committed overnight by an unidentified suspect. The victim's garage door had been left open and the thief entered, rifled through the two parked cars and stole golf equipment. Evidence gathered is being processed.

April 2, 2019

  • Case Number: 19-001819

Police arrested a 27-year-old female suspected of hit-and-run in a grocery store parking lot. The victim told police the suspect hit her car, said she didn't have insurance and took off. Criminal driver's license violation charges are pending.

An employee at a local department store was arrested on suspicion of stealing more than $4000 from the register over the last three months. The investigation is ongoing.

  • Type: Fraud/ID Theft
  • Case Number: 19-001811

A woman reported that she had been the victim of a scam. A caller posing as a Chase bank representative convinced the victim to give them personal information over the phone. Police advised she contact her banks, credit bureaus and the social security administration to protect herself from identity theft.

April 3, 2019

  • Location: King County District Court, 15990 NE 85th St.
  • Type: Arrest
  • Case Number: 19-001853

A 30-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of possessing meth and heroin while he was reporting to a Redmond Community Court hearing. All court attendees are subject to search before entering and the suspect had apparently forgotten about the large bag of illegal drugs in his pocket. Felony drug charges are pending.

Two vehicles parked in a hotel parking lot had their windows smashed and various items were stolen. The suspect's identity is not currently known.

April 4, 2019

  • Location: Redmond Town Center
  • Type: Arrest
  • Case Number: 19-001883

A belligerent, barefoot male was arrested after causing a violent disturbance at Redmond Town Center. The fracas began when the 26-year-old suspect attacked a Kia in the shopping center parking garage and then took his disturbance upstairs to a restaurant. Inside he grabbed a customer by the throat and smashed a glass on the floor. The suspect fought with arriving officers but was eventually subdued and taken into custody. The male was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct, assault, obstructing, resisting arrest and malicious mischief.

A man reported his Subaru had been stolen from in front of his apartment sometime overnight. The victim told police there had been a spare key left inside. The suspect has not been identified.

April 5, 2019

A 25-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting from a local grocery store.

An unknown car prowler broke into a parked car and stole cash, keys and paperwork.

  • Location: 16500 block of NE 92nd St.
  • Type: Residential Burglary
  • Case Number: 19-001909

A man called police after he arrived home and found his front door had been pried open. Officers did not find the suspect still in the home and the victim reported it did not appear any of his belongings were missing. The burglar's identity is not known.

  • Type: Commercial Burglary
  • Case Number: 19-001888

Officers responded to a commercial burglary alarm to find thieves had smashed through a glass front door of a local cannabis shop. The unknown suspects also shattered a glass display case inside and stole merchandise. The investigation is ongoing.

April 6, 2019

  • Type: Fraud/ID Theft
  • Case Number: 19-001932

Police took a report of fraudulent activity after a man discovered $47,000 had been transferred out of his bank account and into the account of an unknown subject. Investigation continues.

April 7, 2019

  • Location: NE 166th St. and Willows Road
  • Type: Arrest
  • Case Number: 19-001936

Police arrested a 48-year-old male on suspicion of DUI. A Sergeant on patrol witnessed the suspect's vehicle swerving and speeding and found the driver to be exhibiting several signs incompatible with sobriety. The suspect was arrested, his vehicle was towed and he was booked into jail.
