A man reported cash and credit cards were taken out of his locker at a local gym while he was working out. One of his cards had already been used at a store in Bellevue by the time he discovered the theft. No suspect information was immediately available.

A 32-year-old male was arrested after police discovered he had a weapon in his vehicle without having a Concealed Pistol License. The suspect was initially stopped by police for going 23 miles above the posted speed limit. The illegally concealed weapon was discovered during the traffic stop and the suspect was booked into jail.

A man reported to police that he had been the victim of an identity theft fraud over the phone. The victim received a call from a "Texas Social Security Officer" claiming he had pending criminal charges due to money laundering and drug trafficking. The scammer then asked for date of birth and his social security number and threatened the victim with arrest. These types of scams are common and RPD advises to never give personal information over the phone to unknown callers without verifying the agency's authenticity.

Police were called after a man discovered his Honda CRV had been stolen from his apartment parking spot sometime overnight. No suspect information was available.

Redmond Police arrested a man suspected of shoplifting from a local hobby store. After being given a suspect description by employees and witnesses, officers tracked the 21-year-old male down on a nearby walking trail, arrested him without incident and recovered the stolen property.

An unknown suspect stole a Honda Civic parked in an apartment parking lot sometime overnight.

Police arrested a 28-year-old male suspected of breaking into an apartment and stealing a laptop and a bag of chicken. A resident of the apartment complex called police after seeing someone behaving suspiciously outside their apartment and attempting to open their window. Upon arrival, officers found the suspect leaving the victim's apartment and arrested him without incident. Both the laptop and chicken were recovered.

Redmond police received nine separate reports of vehicles being broken into overnight in the Grass Lawn neighborhood. The majority of the victim cars had no sign of forced entry and many may have been left unlocked. The unknown suspect or suspects made off with wallets, backpacks, cash, various ID papers, checkbooks and other valuable personal items.

Police investigated a car prowl at a local park where an unknown suspect smashed a window to gain entry and stole a wallet. The victim reported his credit card was used immediately after the theft.

Police investigated a break-in at a local business. The suspect smashed through the glass on the front door with a concrete block, rummaged through the shop and stole some merchandise. Officers and K-9 searched the surrounding area but did not locate the suspect. Investigation is ongoing.
