Redmond police arrested a 30-year-old male on suspicion of burglary after a security guard reported he stole a bike from a bike cage. Officers quickly found the suspect based on witness descriptions and security footage and detained him. The suspect, who also had several outstanding warrants, was booked into jail.

Officers investigated a burglary after the resident found her bathroom window forced open and the screen removed. It wasn't immediately clear if anything was missing from the home and there wasn't any damage. Officers collected evidence for processing but no suspect was immediately apparent.

In the 10 minutes a woman was away from her car, an unknown suspect smashed a window and snatched her purse that had been left inside.

Company property was stolen out of a business trailer after an unidentified burglar forced open a window and gained entry.

Police were called after a restaurant employee discovered a customer had paid for a meal with a counterfeit $50 bill.
September 5, 2018

A thief pried open a truck canopy and stole several thousand dollars worth of tools. No suspect information was immediately available.

A man discovered cash and credit cards had been taken from his wallet while it was in a locker at a local gym. The unknown suspect attempted to use the credit cards at multiple locations shortly after.

Police investigated two car prowls in the same neighborhood which were likely caused by the same unknown suspect. It appeared the prowler accessed the vehicles through unlocked doors.

Officers responded to a report that someone had pried open the door to an apartment laundry room and stolen an unknown amount of money out of the coin boxes.

September 9, 2018

Police were called to investigate the theft of several tools from the maintenance area of an apartment building. Officers located a 30-year-old female about a block away that matched the description of the perpetrator and she was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
