Redmond, WA - Investigators continue to investigate the details surrounding the fatal shooting of 48-year-old Jonathan Fagerlie to determine the chain of events that lead to his death. Fagerlie was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in front of his family's residence in the 6200 block of 154th Ave NE at about 6 a.m. on June 20. The suspected shooter, Fagerlie's 33-year-old half-brother, was contacted inside the house immediately after police arrived and taken into custody without incident. There were two other family members inside the house during the shooting, but apparently neither were involved. Investigators have confirmed that there was an argument between the two before shots were fired. Medical crews rushed the victim to Harborview Medical Center where he died shortly after arrival. The suspect was released from jail on Tuesday as police and prosecutors determine appropriate charges. This active investigation is ongoing.
