REDMOND, WA - Redmond Police are investigating a suspicious death after a male was found suffering from serious injuries in the middle of West Lake Sammamish Parkway. A passerby called 911 after seeing the victim in the road near Leary Way just after midnight on July 29. Redmond medical crews rushed him to the hospital where he died a day later. According to the King County Medical Examiner's Office, the victim died from blunt force trauma to the head but further details are still pending. He has been identified as 38-year-old Francis Gaspar whose last known address was in south Seattle. Investigators are asking anyone who may have information about this incident or is associated with the victim to call 425-556-2500 or leave an anonymous tip here: bit.ly/RPDCrimeTip Redmond Police are also requesting to be contacted if Gaspar's car is located. It is a black 2014 Volkswagen Passat bearing the WA license plate BGY8240.
