June 18, 2018

Two teens were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting after they were seen grabbing alcohol from a local grocery store and running out the door. Officers tracked the two suspects down to the nearby greenbelt and located them hiding in some blackberry bushes. The teens were arrested, booked, and released to their respective guardians.

A woman reported that more than $1300 had been fraudulently charged to her debit card. The case was forwarded to the Sand Diego Police Department where all of the charges occurred.

- Location: NE 90th St and Avondale Road
Police responded to an idling vehicle that was stopped in the middle of Avondale Road with the driver asleep at the wheel. The woman behind the wheel exhibited numerous signs of intoxication and was booked into jail on suspicion of DUI.

An unknown suspect stole a wallet out of a vehicle and quickly made several fraudulent charges on the stolen credit cards. There was no sign of forced entry on the car.
June 20, 2018

A man called police to report his vehicle had been broken into while parked in his garage. The thieves stole a laptop, sports equipment, checks and several other items. The suspects apparently entered after the garage door had been inadvertently left open. Evidence at the scene is being processed and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers searched for two suspects who were seen trying to steal an ATM from a hotel lobby. Hotel employees saw the two males unsuccessfully attempt to move the cash machine with a dolly and called police. The suspects aborted their plan and ran off. A K-9 track was deployed but the two were not found. Evidence at the scene was collected and is being processed.

A car prowler smashed the window of a parked vehicle with a rock and snatched a backpack containing the victim's wallet and other personal items. There was no suspect information immediately available.

A vehicle owner called police to report their Good to Go pass was missing from their vehicle and had been in use by an unknown suspect since April.
