April 23, 2018

A car parked in a church parking lot was broken into and a purse, wallet and other items were stolen. There was no surveillance footage or suspect information available.
April 24, 2018

During the few minutes a woman was inside a local coffee shop, an unknown suspect smashed her vehicle window and snatched her laptop and wallet. It appeared the suspect had attempted to break into another car nearby, but only succeeded in cracking the window.

A man called police after discovering his identity had been used to fraudulently open a cell phone account. A cell phone, in his name, that he had not ordered showed up at his home address. The victim investigated with the phone company and found the suspect had used his name, address and social security number to open the account. Police are continuing to investigate to determine if the phone company will be able to provide further identifying information about the suspect.
April 25, 2018

Two secured lockers were broken into by an unknown suspect in the men's locker room of a local gym. Both victims' belongings had been rummaged through and cash and credit cards were stolen. The suspect used the stolen cards a short time later to buy a couple thousand dollars worth of goods at local stores. The investigation is ongoing.

An unknown suspect stole a motorcycle from a Redmond tow yard by cutting a hole in the chain link fence and rolling the vehicle out to the street. Evidence was collected at the scene is being processed.
April 27, 2018

- Location: 15000 block of NE 24th St.
- Case Number: 18-800190
After receiving a cash withdrawal from the bank, securing the money in his trunk, and stopping at a coffee shop, a man returned to his vehicle to find the cash gone. The unknown suspect had apparently damaged the trunk lock and stolen the cash. There was no surveillance footage available of the parking lot.
April 28, 2018

- Location: 16400 block of NE 40th St.
- Case Number: 18-002291
Police were called after a man reported that a suspect had approached him on the sidewalk, snatched his cell phone out of his hand, and then demanded his wallet in return for the phone. The victim refused to give up his wallet and the suspect ran off with the phone. K-9 officers were used to attempt to track the suspect, but he was not found.

A man hid in a department store, waited until it closed, then smashed several display cases and made off with a number of pieces of jewelry. Evidence was collected at the scene and police are continuing to investigate.
