A vehicle was stolen from an apartment complex parking lot sometime during the day while the owner was not at home. No suspect information was immediately available.
February 27, 2018

A woman reported being swindled by someone who called her claiming they were from immigration services. The unknown suspect told her she would be arrested for being in the country illegally if she did not provide payment in iTunes gift cards. Officers advised she had been scammed and to check her personal accounts for further ID theft.

A man reported that a check that must have been in his vehicle when it was stolen last fall had been fraudulently cashed. Police are investigating.

Three vehicles parked in the same parking lot had windows smashed by an unknown suspect and various bags and other personal items stolen.
March 2, 2018

Police investigated a car prowl in the garage of an apartment building. An unknown suspect stole some bags and personal items from the vehicle. There was no sign of forced entry. Evidence was gathered and is being processed.
March 4, 2018

Police were called after a man had two vehicle windows smashed and his car broken into while at the gym. The unknown suspect only stole the breathalyzer device connected to the vehicle's ignition.

Officers were called to investigate a stolen purse at a local department store. The victim had hung her purse on a hanger on a clothing rack while selecting clothing items and an unseen suspect took the purse while she wasn't looking.
