Redmond detectives are searching for more potential victims of an accused child sexual assault suspect.

On Tuesday, Sept. 12, Redmond detectives arrested Christopher A. Remsing, 30, of Kent, as part of an online undercover operation targeting the sexual abuse of minors. He has been charged with two counts of Attempted Rape of a Child in the First Degree.

Remsing has a history of offering to babysit to gain unsupervised access to young children. Preliminary investigations have led to the identification of additional victims in the Puget Sound area. Detectives believe there may be more.

After his arrest, detectives executed a search warrant on Remsing’s vehicle and apartment. They seized hundreds of pairs of children’s underwear and other articles of clothing, as well as electronic devices containing images depicting sexual abuse against young children.

Remsing remains in custody at King County Correctional Facility on $750,000 bail.

Anyone with information about Remsing or who believes their child may be a victim is asked to contact the Redmond Police Department at 425-556-2500.
