City Seeks Feedback on Fee Studies

REDMOND, WA – The City of Redmond is asking community members affected by development services fees, to attend a meeting and provide feedback. The meeting will be held in person from 1 – 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 18, at Redmond City Hall in the Council Conference Room (15670 NE 85th Street).

At the meeting, the consultant performing the study will present their preliminary findings and recommendations and answer questions from attendees. Attendees should have knowledge and interest in the fees being studied which affect developers and some business owners.

The Development Services User Fee Study includes the review and update of all development services fees and fee structures, the creation of new fees, and the deletion of fees to meet the cost recovery policies and operational objectives. The methodology of this study includes comparing fees with other jurisdictions and ensuring full cost recovery as required by law.
