Grant Opportunities
The Glaser Foundation
supports direct‐line services to children and the elderly in Washington State. Grants range from $500 to $50,000. Focus Areas: Health-related issues, Services to children with disabilities, Educational/vocational training, Services to the elderly, Services to children and families from disadvantaged backgrounds, and Services to at-risk youth. Deadline May 31.
Umpqua Bank Community Grant
invests in nonprofit organizations, communities, and leaders with the intent of supporting direct‐service programming that incorporates a diversity, equity, and
inclusion focus to build healthier, more resilient, better connected, and inclusive communities. Grants range from $5,000 - $10,000. Deadline June 2.
The
Kawabe Memorial Fund
supports general operations and programs of nonprofit agencies devoted to the care of low‐income children, families and seniors. Community-based organizations in the greater Seattle area with budgets of $5 million or less are encouraged to apply. Deadline June 9.
The
Norman Archibald Charitable Foundation
funds a variety of capital and equipment projects in the areas of human services, education and youth development. Grants average $3,000‐$7,000.
The
Mannix Canby Foundation
focuses on increasing equity and reducing disparities in the Puget Sound community. They seek to support organizations that are reflective of and embedded in the communities they serve, draw on the strengths and assets of these communities, and are accountable to these communities in order to achieve the long‐term goals of increasing equity and reducing disparities. Grants start at $10,000.
The Medina Foundation
focuses on improving the lives of Puget Sound residents by funding organizations that help people on their path to self‐sufficiency. Primary areas of focus are: positive pathways for youth, stabilization for families and individuals, and economic opportunities. The majority of grants are for general operating support ranging from $5,000 to $60,000.
