Complete a questionnaire and participate in a focus group to influence city services, policy, and direction
REDMOND, WA – The City of Redmond is committed to creating a Redmond in which all residents can fully and effectively access city services, influence city policy and direction, and feel a sense of belonging and safety. For this reason, the City is conducting a community assessment to learn how to most equitably serve and create opportunities for those who live, work, and play in Redmond. The community is invited to provide feedback through an online questionnaire from July 5 – Sept. 24 and by participating in community listening sessions offered in July, August, and September.
"Redmond is a welcoming and inclusive city and we are stronger because of our community's rich diversity," said Mayor Angela Birney. "To ensure that we provide equitable access to every community member, we are asking for your input on how we can better serve and support you as you navigate and engage with city services and policies."
This assessment will result in a roadmap and a three-year strategic plan to create more equitable and inclusive policies, programs, and overall culture. To learn more about the project, complete the questionnaire, and sign up for a listening session, visit LetsConnectRedmond.com/DEI.
