Step Challenge! Participants can choose which distance they want to achieve. Those who accomplish their goal will be entered into a drawing for a prize! (As always, be sure to check with your doctor before starting any new exercise routine.)
WHAT: Step Challenge! Tracking can be done by using any step/mile tracking device (i.e. iphone (health app), iWatch, FitBit, Garmin activity tracker, fitness app, etc.) See end of Event description for more info on digital or online tracking resources!
WHEN: APRIL 20 - MAY 19
WHERE: 3 different distances you can choose from:
REDMOND RACER: 6k steps/day = 186,000 steps total
REDMOND ROCKSTAR: 8k steps/day = 248,000 steps total
REDMOND RULER: 12k steps/day = 372,000 steps total
WHY: To stay active and win a prize!
Those who accomplish their goal will be entered into a drawing for a prize! Drawing winners (3 total - one for each distance challenge) will receive a City of Redmond Swag Bag once social distancing is over!

- Save a digital copy of the tracking calendar (post coming Sunday 4/19!
- Print out the tracking calendar we provide
- Manually record steps walked each day
- Submit number of total steps via Survey Monkey link (to be sent out at the end of the challenge)
- Use a tracking device or app
