Willows Road Culvert Replacement

Aerial view of Willows Rd Culvert Replacement project area

Project Overview

This project will replace undersized fish barrier culverts on Willows Creek and Gun Club Creek with wider concrete culverts. Once the culverts are in place, Willows Road between NE 95th St and NE 99th St will be repaved. This will complete the Willows Road paving project from NE 90th St. to NE 124th St.

Grant Funding

Both of these culvert replacement projects will remove old and undersized culverts under Willows Road, replacing each one with larger box culverts meeting current standards for flow capacity and fish passage standards. Construction of both the Willows Creek culvert and Gun Club Creek culvert replacement projects is partially funded through the generous support of grants, with remaining funding from the Stormwater CIP.
