- Overlake Access Ramp
The Overlake Access Ramp is a Highway Improvement Project that provides direct access from SR 520 to local streets in Overlake Village. The project has both transportation and economic benefits. It better distributes traffic exiting SR 520 onto local streets in Overlake, and it facilitates the creation of up to 14,500 jobs.
The Access Ramp supports the vision for Overlake Village by allowing for the conversion of 152nd Avenue NE to a retail main street and allowing future phases of the Esterra Park project to proceed. In general it increases the attractiveness of property in Overlake Village for development that is consistent with the future vision. The State and City are jointly responsible for the Access Ramp project, including local street connections.
