City Signature Events
The City of Redmond offers two City signature events each year that are fun, free, and open to the public. Derby Days is a summer festival held each summer on Redmond's municipal campus and Redmond Lights is a celebration of art and light each winter in Downtown Park. Learn more below.

Rockin' on the River is a free, all-ages concert series each summer on the great lawn next to Redmond's City Hall. Learn more here.
The 1st Annual Downtown Redmond Art Walk will highlight Redmond's local artists and downtown businesses on Thursday, August 17. The event partners the downtown area's businesses with local artists in order to highlight both art and the vibrant organizations in Redmond's downtown corridor. As a part of the event, the City of Redmond will activate Downtown Park from 4 - 7 p.m. with art and performances, as well as produce a map of participating locations to encourage participants to visit the art and performances at those businesses. Get up close and personal with the trucks, tractors, construction equipment, and other unique vehicles that work in our community! Families with children ages 1-10 can sign up to spend the afternoon of Aug. 18 at Farrel-McWhirter Park engaging with these unique vehicles and machines and learning how they serve the Redmond community. The Beat the Bunny 5K race happens each Spring in Redmond. This race invites participants to race against the bunny to win a prize. The 2023 race will be held on April 1 at The Redmond Community Center at Marymoor Village. Click here to learn more and sign up!
