Traffic Stops

Few things will make your mood drop like seeing those flashing lights in your rearview mirror. Almost all of us have or will at some point be in the driver's seat when those flashing lights appear behind us. Knowing what to do when you are being stopped by an officer can help to alleviate the stress of the situation and ensure the safety of you, your passengers and the officer.

We understand that traffic stops are handled very differently depending on what country you are in and it can be confusing if you are here visiting or new to the area. We have created a brochure to give tips on the dos and don'ts when you find yourself being pulled over. Stop by the Redmond Police Department for paper versions of this brochure (multiple languages available).
