Address: Bear Creek Pkwy, west of 159th Pl NE
A new artwork on Bear Creek represents a corner post from a Coast Salish Long House and was created by Muckleshoot master carvers Tyson Simmons and Keith Stevenson. This new artwork commemorates the unique Bear Creek archaeological site that was discovered during a 2008 cultural resources survey. During archaeological investigations conducted with the restoration of the Bear Creek stream the site yielded artifacts that date to over 12,000 years ago.
