Planning Commission

The Planning Commission is made up of Redmond residents who volunteer their time to advise the Mayor and City Council on land use issues. Regular meetings take place on the second, third, and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. Special meetings occur occasionally on the first and fifth Wednesdays.

Planning Commission Rules

Administrative rules govern how the Planning Commission will conduct its business.  They describe the general format for Planning Commission meetings, usual meeting days and other administrative details.  The Planning Commission rules were approved by City Council on March 19, 2014. October 9, 2019 - Short Course on Local Government Planning
6:30-9:30 p.m. in Council Chambers

Washington Department of Commerce, Growth Management Services staff and planning professionals will present a general overview of land use planning in Washington State to local officials, the development community and interested citizens.  No fee. Registration information is forthcoming.
