Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Project Overview

This project installed 11 dual-head electric vehicle charging stations capable of charging 22 City fleet vehicles: 20 at the City Hall garage and 2 at the Maintenance and Operations Center (MOC). The new charging stations will help meet the City’s Zero Emission & Green Fleet goals.

Due to the long lead-time for electrical equipment, the construction occurred in two phases: initial underground utility work in the fall of 2023 with installation of the charging station in the fall of 2024.
