The Redmond Police Department is seeking well-qualified entry, lateral, and exceptional police officers and professional staff to join our team.
At least 21 years of age
U.S. Citizen or lawful, permanent resident
90 quarter or 60 semester hours from an accredited college, or;
College waiver for 2+ years law enforcement experience
Valid WA State driver's license upon hire
Employed as a full-time, sworn, law enforcement officer for a minimum of 24 months within the last five years.
Provide a certificate or transcript from an equivalent Basic Law Enforcement Academy that satisfies WA State Criminal Justice Training Center requirements.
Associate of Arts degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, or a related field from an accredited college; or
Completion of 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours from an accredited college or university; or
Two (2) years of military experience.
Be a current full-time sworn police officer who works for another law enforcement agency and worked less than two continuous years (with no break in service of more than 24 months if not currently employed as a police officer).
Entry Officer benefits
Entry pay range: $85,272 -$98,760 (plus approximately$7,400 in bonuses).
