- Redmond Busker Program
The Redmond Busker Program was established in 2021 to provide local and regional street performers an opportunity to perform at Redmond's Downtown Park. Through the program, artists are permitted as a busker and authorized to perform at designated times at 2 locations in the park with up to 5 performers at a time.
Buskers are street performers including musicians, dancers, theater groups, and other performance artists who perform in public spaces. This program is intended to provide a low-barrier opportunity for local and regional artists of all experience levels to share their work with the community. Buskers participating in the program are permitted to promote and sell their work or solicit donations from the public during their performance timeslots.
Applications for the remainder of 2023 will open Jan. 17. Artists will first apply and pay the permit fee online. Applications will be reviewed by City staff on an ongoing basis. Once the application and payment are received, artists will receive a link to sign up for performance timeslots. Additional timeslots may be added to increase the capacity of this program. Permits will need to be renewed for 2024. Subscribe to our enewsletter and follow us on Facebook to stay updated on the program.
To get started on your application for 2023, please read the Busker Program Guide.
Once you have read the guide information, apply and pay your fees here. The receipt will give you the next step information for scheduling your busking location and times.
