Home Lighting Contest

Help us make Redmond glow and show off your decorating skills!

We invite all Redmond residents to decorate your home or balcony to celebrate the winter season and share your creations with the community. Once your display is complete, come back to this page to enter the contest. Participant photos will be shared on our Facebook page for community voting and you may choose to include your display on the lighting display map for Redmond residents and visitors to enjoy through the month of December and into the New Year.

Voting

Voting will take place on Facebook starting Dec. 12 on our Facebook page. If you would like to see all of last years' entries for some inspiration, you can click one of the links below.

Entry Rules & Process

Submit your entry with photos by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, December 10, 2023.
Keep it family-friendly.
Displays must not obstruct the sidewalk and/or any public right-of-way.
No display is too big or too small!
Entries will be shared on social media during the week of Dec. 12 for community voting
Winners will be announced on Dec. 19, 2023 and victory signs delivered that week.
Please keep your decorations up through the beginning of January 2024 to welcome the New Year!
Please select either the Balcony or Single-family Home display type. Please let us know at events@redmond.gov if you would like some help deciding which category is the right fit for your entry!

Balcony and Window Displays	Single-Family House Displays
Residents living in apartments or multi-family buildings with a balcony or window display that is visible from any public right-of-way in Redmond.	Residents living in Single-Family Houses or other entries using a lawn or the full structure as part of your display.
