Hopelink has confronted the issue of poverty in our community for 50 years. Today the organization provides a robust network of services with a goal that is twofold: ensuring stability for those in crisis and helping those who achieve stability acquire the skills and knowledge they need to exit poverty.
Every year, Hopelink helps more than 65,000 people in our community, whether filling an empty pantry with food, providing a safe place for a family to sleep, giving a ride to a critical medical appointment or helping someone without work prepare for a job interview. With service centers in Redmond, Bellevue, Kirkland, Shoreline and Sno-Valley (Carnation), Hopelink is the largest nonprofit organization in the area, focusing on nine categories of assistance: Adult Education, Emergency Financial Help, Employment Services, Energy Assistance, Family Development, Financial Literacy, Food Assistance, Housing and Transportation.
