Redmond Parks and Recreation offers hundreds of activities throughout the year, for all interests and skill levels. Middle school youth are invited to get creative with art classes, develop leadership and cooperation skills through recreational sports, and code or innovate with STEM and technology.
We partner with Sammamish Rowing Association to offer rowing for kids in the 8th grade. Registration takes place through the Sammamish Rowing Association.
After School Enrichment is offered at Redmond Middle School and Rose Hill/Stella Middle School. Students meet directly after school and choose from a variety of clubs that offer participation. Clubs are run by our recreation staff and community partners such as Redmond Glass Studio, UW Bothell, and the Redmond Library. Clubs change every 4-6 weeks, are youth driven, and are designed to appeal to a variety of interests. Off-campus classes and field trips are also offered! Registration occurs by semester.
We partner with DaVinci Academy to provide academic assistance, including homework and school project assistance, creative workshops, math help, and public speaking. A pickup option is available by van from Redmond area schools. Get more information about this helpful program.
