Free breakfast for the
community (donations were accepted).
The community enjoyed an all-you-can-eat breakfast at Redmond Fire Station 11,
8450 161st Avenue NE. Breakfast was served by the Firefighters
and consisted of pancakes, sausage, eggs, orange juice and coffee.
The breakfast was sponsored by the Redmond Fire Department's
Benevolent Fund and all proceeds will go towards benefiting the people of
the local community, especially those facing personal tragedy.
Aside from breakfast in the fire station, children toured the
department's various fire apparatus, tried their hand at squirting
water on a mock fire and posed for photos in authentic fire gear.
