The North Redmond Neighborhood Citizen
Committee Forming
Each of Redmond's ten neighborhoods will have the opportunity to
form a neighborhood citizen committee. The committees work in
collaboration with the City in order to provide a communication network
for all of Redmond's residents. The committee also serves to
provide opportunities for participation in City activities for each of
Redmond's residents. A committee is typically formed following
the adoption of an updated neighborhood plan (2005 and later).
The Grass Lawn neighborhood was
the first to form such a group and the North Redmond neighborhood is
the latest neighborhood for which an updated plan has been adopted.
Please visit the North Redmond
neighborhood pages to learn more about how you can help. As
well, please contact Kimberly Dietz, 425-556-2415 or
kdietz@redmond.gov to share
your interest.

Working to Enhance the Neighborhood
Residents all around Redmond have been taking full advantage of City
services when it comes to neighborhoods. The Neighborhood Matching
Fund is available to everyone living within the Redmond city limits.
The fund is offered as a matching grant at a maximum of $5,000.
This amount must be matched by the applicant in the form of dollars,
donations, and service hours. Projects supported by this program
include updates and repairs to entrance signage, plantings, upgrades to
pavers, and enhancements to native habitat. To learn more about
the program, please visit the
Neighborhood Matching Fund page.
