Working to Enhance the Neighborhood
Residents all around Redmond have been taking full advantage of City
services when it comes to neighborhoods. The Neighborhood Matching
Fund is available to everyone living within the Redmond city limits.
The fund is offered as a matching grant at a maximum of $2,500.
This amount must be matched by the applicant in the form of dollars,
donations, and service hours. Projects supported by this program
include updates and repairs to entrance signage, plantings, upgrades to
pavers, and enhancements to native habitat. To learn more about
the program, please visit the
Neighborhood Matching Fund page.
Become a Friend of Riverwalk
Learn how to become a Friend of
Riverwalk and how you may help support the Riverwalk project.
Serving as a recreational backbone for the Redmond community and
providing connections to the larger community of Puget Sound, the
Sammamish River is developing as a focal point of the City.
Supporting residents from the first bicycle ride of the youngest, to the
lunchtime jog of the downtown worker, to the late afternoon stroll of
the retired; the Riverwalk is planned to enhance and invite community
members to the Sammamish River. To learn about the four main goals
of the project, please visit the
Riverwalk pages.
