Redmond's Neighborhood Network Pilot
2010
Redmond's Neighborhood Network, a concept that evolved from the
Neighborhood Planning Program helps:
- Citizens check-in with staff regarding their
neighborhood plan
- Staff build and maintain a communication network
with citizens
- Complement the City's existing communication
opportunities
Staff held the first pilot in the Grass Lawn
neighborhood on May 13, 2010. We anticipate the second pilot
in the
Education Hill neighborhood during the fall of
2010.

Overlake Neighborhood Residential Area Plan Update
The Overlake neighborhood consists of three distinct sub-areas.
The two southern sub-areas, which include the Employment Area and the
Overlake Village, follow a neighborhood plan that was recently adopted in
late-2007. The northern sub-area, made up of single-family,
residential communities, completed a neighborhood plan update in early
2010.
The Redmond Planning Commission plans to continue their review of the
recommended update through July 2010. To learn more about the
process to date, please refer to the
Overlake Neighborhood
Residential Area Plan
Update page or contact
Kimberly Dietz at 425-556-2415.

Bear Creek Neighborhood Plan Update
Citizens of the Bear Creek neighborhood are updating their
neighborhood plan. A group of neighborhood citizens, serving as
the Bear Creek Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC), meet with staff to
consider the long-term future for the neighborhood. They consider
all aspects of daily living, working, recreating, and traveling.
Citizen input is a significant component of the neighborhood planning
process. To learn more about the plan update and how you can share
your thoughts with the CAC, please visit the
Bear Creek neighborhood page or
contact Jeff Churchill at 425-556-2492.
