The 2007 Clearing, Grading, and Stormwater Management
Technical Notebook (Stormwater Notebook) is now available. The City
of Redmond updated the 2004 Stormwater Notebook to adopt the Washington
State Department of Ecology’s
2005 Stormwater Management Manual for
Western Washington.
This major revision:
- encourages low impact development;
- protects the City’s groundwater resources;
- embraces a regional approach to stormwater management;
- and applies state of the art stormwater management BMPs.
The notebook describes the requirements for new development and
redevelopment projects. Land developers and development engineers use
the notebook to help design site plans and determine stormwater
infrastructure. Businesses use the manual to help design their
stormwater pollution prevention plans. The manual is useful for anyone
needing guidance on sediment and erosion control for construction sites.
The 2007 Stormwater Technical Notebook is available:
- electronically from the City’s website at
2007 Stormwater
Technical Notebook;
- on CD upon request at the Development Services Center in City
Hall; or
- in printed form. Individuals may purchase a printed and
bound copy for $35.00 (plus tax) at the Development Services Center on
2nd Floor in City Hall.
The superseded 1999 and 2004 Stormwater Technical Notebooks remain
available on the City’s website at: 1999 Stormwater Technical Notebook
and 2004 Stormwater Technical Notebook.
