The Puget Sound Starts Here campaign was initiated by STORM, a
coalition of more than 50 counties and cities around Puget Sound working
together to address state municipal stormwater permit requirements.
These requirements are intended to reduce water pollution.
The Puget Sound Partnership, a state agency working to restore and
protect Puget Sound, recognized the impacts of polluted stormwater on
the health of Puget Sound, and combined resources with the STORM
coalition to form Puget Sound Starts Here.
Residential neighborhoods are one of the largest sources of
stormwater pollution! How is that possible?? Click on the
Puget Sound Starts Here logo at the top and find out how and what you
can do to help preserve our streams, lake and river and our Puget Sound.
