Project Description: As of early 2008, the
City is beginning the design phase for the new Fire Station No. 17 located in
the rapidly developing North Redmond neighborhood. The new station will house
fire and aid staff.

Project Description: Improvements to this
intersection will add two additional thru lanes to the east leg of the
intersection. A westbound right-turn lane will be added for northbound SR
202 and the left-turn lane for westbound NE 124th Street to southbound SR
202 will also be lengthened to provide more storage and reduce the backups on NE
124th Street. Curb, gutter, planter strip and sidewalk will be placed
along the eastern leg. Traffic signal modifications will be made to
accommodate the revised channelization.
