Project Description: These are mixed use
developments in King County that create communities where residents can live,
work and play. Utilities are being supplied by City of Redmond.
Because of the traffic impacts attributed to these projects there will also be

Location: Novelty Hill Road at 196th Avenue

Project Description: Activities in preparation for construction will start now and
continue through the spring and into summer. Utility companies will start
relocating their facilities along Novelty Hill Road the week of
April 12, 2010, followed by work on 195th/196th Avenue NE. King County
maintenance crews will start clearing brush along Novelty Hill Road in late
April. Some lane closures will be required for the utility and maintenance work
but no road closures are anticipated. Crews will be working during non-peak
times (between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM).
King County Road Services Division will begin construction on Novelty Hill
Road and 195th/196th Avenue NE late this June or early July. Construction along Union Hill
Road is not anticipated to start until 2011. The entire project will continue
through 2012.
