Project Description: The preliminary grading
work involves removal of the top 4 feet of material within the excavation limits
of the lower 1000 feet of the future relocated channel. Preliminary grading for
the project will facilitate the archeological investigation necessary to
determine if any significant cultural resources will be found within the future
channel alignment. This initial construction work represents the first of a
three-phase process to relocate the creek over the next three summer
construction seasons.
